MSPC Dunks for The Wounded Warrior Project
On Friday, June 19th, New Jersey-based CPA Firm MSPC employees gathered at the Cranford Office for a day of laughter, bonding, and giving back. Charity is an integral part of the corporate culture and as such, employees volunteered to dunk or be dunked in an effort to raise money for charity during the firm’s annual picnic. Dunk tank donations reached a total of $756.00 and with MSPC matching the funds a total of $1,512.00 was donated to The Wounded Warrior Project.
Each of the fourteen “Dunkees” chose a charity of their choice with four of the fourteen selecting The Wounded Warrior Project. Those that did the dunking lined up with five-to-twenty dollars in hand to dunk the representative for each charity. The charity with the most funds raised, won the total amount of money made that day.
“I selected Wounded Warriors as a small thank you for the sacrifices made on our behalf by all soldiers at home and overseas. After what they have given us, it is the least we can do to assist in their rehabilitation,” says Semi-Senior William Gerdes on choosing to represent The Wounded Warrior Project.
The Wounded Warrior Project is a charity that offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans and their families.
MSPC is no stranger to giving back. As an organization with a strong corporate culture, MSPC aims to organize two-to-three service projects a year.
